Pre-Inspection Agreement

Please read carefully and sign below before we perform any property inspection. By submitting this form, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined herein.

    1. Scope of Inspection: The inspection is strictly visual and non-invasive. It is intended solely to identify observable defects and safety hazards. The inspection does not constitute an assurance, guarantee, or warranty, express or implied, regarding the condition of the property, including hidden or latent defects.

    2. Client Responsibilities: The client shall provide accurate and complete information regarding the property. Pets, children, or other hazards must be secured to allow safe access. Access to all areas of the property to be inspected must be provided at the scheduled time. Failure to comply may limit the scope of the inspection.

    3. Payment Terms: Payment for services is due as outlined in the fee schedule prior to or at the time of inspection. Cancellation or rescheduling must be communicated at least 24 hours in advance. The inspector reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee if proper notice is not given.

    4. Limitation of Liability: The inspector shall not be liable for any defects, damages, or losses that are not visible during the inspection, including but not limited to latent defects, future conditions, or consequential damages. The client releases the inspector from any claims, demands, or causes of action arising from matters not observable during the inspection.

    5. No Warranty: This inspection does not constitute a warranty, guarantee, or insurance of any kind regarding the property or its components, and no assurances regarding future conditions are made.

    6. Indemnification: The client agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the inspector, their employees, agents, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including attorney’s fees) arising from or related to the inspection or the client’s use of the inspection report.

    7. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution: This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state in which the inspection occurs. Any disputes arising from this agreement or the inspection shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of that state.

    8. Client Acknowledgment: By checking the agreement box and signing below, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and voluntarily accept all terms and conditions of this Pre-Inspection Agreement.
